Thanks for checking us out. Our services are engaging, relevant and casual. We are one church worshiping at three services: 9am at Malvern, 10.30am at Malvern and 9.15am at Unley. Our first service is at 9am at Malvern. This is a more traditional service with a very friendly gathering. We have a lovely pipe organ on which hymns are played. Fellowship is in the hall after the service where we meet for coffee and morning tea. Our 10:30am Malvern Now service is for all ages, with many families attending. You can expect barista style coffee and bakery items prior to the service, contemporary music and lively preaching. This service also offers an age-specific children's program.
Our service at Unley is at 9.15am. This is a friendly and intimate service offering regulars and newcomers alike the ability to reflect on the deeper things of life. Our Unley community is thoughtful and welcoming and would love to meet you.
Part of our worship is experiencing Christian community. In every service we hope to encounter Jesus in his glory, deepening in our relationship with him and experiencing his call on our lives. We’d love to see you any Sunday at one of our services.
1. WORSHIP - recognising Jesus truly
Worship is our loving response to God the Trinity for who he is and what he has done for us. It is to be practiced daily (by living our lives in permanent awe and reverence) and celebrated weekly (in corporate worship). Worship is to be done honestly and without pretence. Our vision for our church is to be a large community worshiping passionately and without inhibition.
Revelation 15:4 All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous acts have been revealed.
2. DISCIPLESHIP - following the way of Jesus
All Christians are on a journey to be more and more like Jesus. This is what it is to be a disciple (follower) of Jesus. Having been redeemed by Jesus' work on the cross, we are being transformed from the inside out by the Holy Spirit. We support this divine work through biblical teaching, community (small) groups, personal devotion, mentoring and prayer. Deepening in our relationship with God, we are ready to give reason for the hope we have in Jesus.
Romans 12:2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind; Ephesians 4:12-13 to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
3. MINISTRY - finding out what Jesus has made us to do
God calls everyone to an abundant life of ministry and gives us gifts to carry out that mission. There is a role for everyone in the body of Christ. Our vision is for everyone in our church to identify their gifts and to realise and carry out their unique God-given ministry to further God's Kingdom.
Ephesians 4:16 From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
4. SERVICE - blessing the world with the love of Jesus
As servants of Jesus we are witnesses to the hope found in Jesus. In both actions and words, we seek the positive transformation of our world into one governed by love, justice and mercy. Our vision is for our church to serve powerfully in meaningful and creative ways at home and abroad. We put our love into action through practical works of humble service.
Mark 9:35 If anyone wants to be first, he must be the very last, and the servant of all; Hebrews 13:16 Do not neglect to do good and to share all you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.
5. COMMUNITY - living with each other in the way of Jesus
We are a family of believers under the Kingship of Jesus. We cherish each other as an indispensable member of that family. Jesus said that the world would know we are his disciples if we love one another. Our vision is for our church to do just that: practice loving, unconditional, contagious and inviting community that causes the world to sit up and take notice.
Ephesians 4:2-3 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.
6. EVANGELISM - proclaiming the hope found in Jesus.
We celebrate our new lives in Christ and freely share its meaning with our friends and family.
We seek opportunities to courageously and thoughtfully share Jesus with everyone.

As a church we find hope and meaning, restoration and renewal in Jesus, who showed us a new and better way to live, who died for our sins and who rose to bring us new life. We honour him by living his way.
We are a community of people being transformed by this reality. We believe God graciously offers us relationship, not religion. Grateful for Jesus' salvation, and transformed by the Holy Spirit, we respond with worship and service.
Our church carries out this mission by deliberately prioritising three areas; Worship, Discipleship and Mission.
While theologically broadly traditional (evangelical), we express and celebrate this message of good news in new and creative ways, seeking to be relevant to our culture.
