Young Adults Pastor (0.4)
This is a part-time, fixed term role for 12 months, and an exciting new ministry venture for our church. You will be joining a strong and supportive ministry team.
Malvern Uniting Church is in a season of intentional renewal and growth. The growth of a healthy youth ministry has seen teenagers becoming young adults and requiring a different new ministry in the life of the church.
The primary purpose of this position is to lead a team in establishing and developing a young adult ministry. This will involve leading a team to gather and shepherd a Christian community of young adults, enabling discipleship, worship and mission.
Church Operations and Administrator (0.5)
This is a new and significant operations role for a fixed term of 2 years in a vibrant, active, growing church community. The primary role of the Church Operations and Administrator is to manage the operational and administrative functions at Malvern Uniting Church, located in Malvern, South Australia.
This role has primary responsibility for administration, finance, facilities bookings, and office management ensuring effective and efficient operations. It is the key go-to figure at the centre of the congregation’s operational life.
Worship Coordinator (0.2)
This is a part-time, fixed term role, an opportunity to lead a great team of musicians and singers and develop a creative vision for the future in a vibrant church community.
Consisting of all generations, our church is focused on taking the best elements of tradition into a new season, formed around contemporary culture. Worship is an essential aspect of this and shall incorporate elements of the traditional in contemporary expression.
The primary role of the Worship Coordinator is to oversee the development of Malvern worship services, including leading and collaboratively developing the team of musicians and tech volunteers and other participants in crafting an engaging and excellent worship experience for Malvern services and special events.
